CHIA SEEDS

Chia seeds, originating from Mexico and now cultivated worldwide, including India, have experienced increasing demand due to their health benefits and culinary versatility. In India, chia seeds have become popular among health-conscious individuals, fitness enthusiasts, and those with specific dietary preferences, thanks to their nutritional richness. They are known for containing omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, protein, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

At Quessentials, we have the capacity to process approximately 600 metric tons of chia seeds monthly. Consistently achieving successful exports, we average around 300 metric tons per month. As a leading supplier and exporter of chia seeds from India, we hold a significant market share of 45%.

Chia seeds in India are primarily cultivated in states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. These regions offer favorable climatic conditions, including warm weather and well-drained soil, which are ideal for chia cultivation.
